Frequent Questions & Answers
Is PRP safe for skin rejuvenation?
Yes. PRP uses your own blood, making it a natural treatment with a strong safety profile when performed by a qualified practitioner.
PRP vs Micro-needling Alone
PRP is often combined with microneedling to enhance results. While microneedling stimulates collagen through controlled skin injury, PRP delivers concentrated growth factors directly to the skin, supporting faster healing and improved outcomes.
Does PRP hurt?
Most clients find PRP comfortable. Sensation can vary depending on the treatment method used.
When can I expect to see results from PRP?
Some improvement may be noticed after the first session, with results continuing to develop over several weeks.
How Many PRP Sessions Will I Need?
Most clients benefit from a course of treatments, typically spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Results develop gradually as collagen production increases over time. Maintenance treatments may be recommended depending on individual goals and skin response.
How long do PRP results last?
Results vary, but benefits can last several months. Maintenance treatments may be recommended.
What’s the Difference between PRP vs PRF?
Both PRF and PRP use your own blood, but they differ in formulation and effect:
PRP: liquid plasma with rapid growth factor release
PRF: fibrin-based matrix with slower, sustained release
PRF may be recommended for clients seeking more gradual, longer-lasting skin regeneration.
