Your treatment journey
Initial consultation
Clients are asked to attend their consultation with a clean face, and with no make-up or lotions
For scalp treatment, please shampoo your hair before treatment
Increase Vitamin B and C intake for two weeks before treatment
Ensure you are well hydrated, have not consumed alcohol or NSAIDs for at least 48 hours prior to treatment
Treatment preparation
A blood sample of either 10 or 20 mL is taken and iPRF is prepared. Your skin is first cleansed, an optional anaesthetic numbing cream is applied and then removed before treatment. iPRF is then injected.
After care
Following skin treatment, clients are asked to do the following
Refrain from touching the treated area(s)
Do not wash the treated area(s) for eight hours
After this time, wash with running water, and a moisturizer can be applied
Do not apply ice, lotions, foundation or other make-up for 24 hours
Avoid activities that will cause sweating for 2-3 days
Do not consume alcohol, or smoke for 2-3 days
Apply Vitamin C serum and/or take Vitamin C orally 2-3 days after treatment
Avoid tanning beds
Avoid exfoliation and chemical peels for 1-3 weeks
Avoid taking aspirin and other NSAIDs
Following scalp treatment, clients are asked to do the following
Avoid shampooing their hair the same day
Do not rub or touch the treated area
Avoid applying an ice pack
Refrain from vigorous exercises, sun, and heat exposure for 2-3 days
Avoid alcohol, smoking for 2-3 days
Avoid hair colouring, straightening, or other hair products for 3 days.
Avoid taking aspirin and other NSAIDs
Recommended number and frequency of treatments
For the face: best results are seen after 2, 4 or 6 treatments, 4 weeks apart - depending on skin baseline condition. Maintenance: 4 sessions every 4-6 weeks apart.
For the hair/scalp: best results are seen after 4-6 sessions, 4 weeks apart. Maintenance 4 treatments, 6 weeks apart
