Autologous exosomes are tiny extracellular vesicles derived from your own cells that help communicate growth signals and stimulate tissue regeneration. When used in aesthetic medicine, exosomes support collagen production, skin rejuvenation, and hair restoration, making them a cutting-edge regenerative therapy.
Unlike traditional PRP or iPRF, autologous exosomes provide concentrated cell signaling molecules that can accelerate healing, enhance cellular repair, and improve overall skin and hair quality.

Yes. They are derived from your own cells, making them a natural, biocompatible treatment with a strong safety profile when administered by a qualified practitioner. Because the material is autologous, the risk of allergic or immune reactions is very low.
Most clients find exosome injections comfortable. A topical anaesthetic can be used to improve comfort.
Some improvement may be noticed after the first session, with full results developing over several weeks as cellular regeneration occurs.
2–6 sessions for skin rejuvenation, or 4–6 sessions for hair restoration, depending on individual needs. Maintenance treatments may be recommended.
Results vary per individual, but maintenance sessions help prolong benefits.
While PRP and iPRF stimulate tissue regeneration using platelets and growth factors, autologous exosomes deliver cell-signaling molecules that accelerate repair and promote longer-lasting skin and hair improvements.
How are autologous exosomes different from stem cell therapy?
Exosomes are not living cells. They do not divide or differentiate like stem cells. Instead, they act as messengers that influence cellular behaviour, making them a cell-free regenerative approach.
How are autologous exosomes used for the scalp?
They are commonly injected into the scalp or combined with micro-needling to support scalp health and hair follicle signalling.
Is autologous exosome therapy a replacement for surgery or medication?
No. It is generally considered a supportive or adjunct therapy, not a replacement for surgical procedures or prescribed medical treatments.
